Dr. Quistberg provides evidence-based treatment for children, teens and young adults from ages 6-25 years old.

Dr. Quistberg provides warm, compassionate, family-centred therapy grounded in the belief that a positive therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. She works collaboratively with children, teens, and their families to develop treatment goals, ensuring each young person's voice remains central to the process.

Her practice is rooted in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, among others (see below for a full list of approaches offered). She has expertise in treating anxiety disorders, OCD, mood concerns, and trauma-related symptoms, as well as a range of other challenges that children and youth commonly face (see below for a full list).

Dr. Quistberg's training and clinical experience have focused on supporting neurodivergent clients navigating mental health difficulties, and she is passionate about providing care that is neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and inclusive. She appreciates the significant impact that lived experiences — including trauma, discrimination, bullying, and other sociocultural factors — can have on mental health and wellbeing. She strives to foster a space where families of all identities and backgrounds feel welcomed, respected, and safe.

She prioritizes tailoring every aspect of therapy to each client's unique needs, adapting her communication style — whether verbal, non-verbal, or play-based — to match each child's developmental level, strengths, interests, and abilities. Beyond building practical tools for managing symptoms and distress, she helps young people develop the confidence and resilience to embrace whatever comes next. Her ultimate goal is to support children, teens, and their families in making meaningful changes so they can move toward more peaceful, fulfilling lives.
